"Kailan Kaya?"

On UKG last Friday before the end of the last batch of news Alex tried to ask Pinky something but she was so fast on cutting Alex short and cued for commercial. I wonder what Alex wanted to ask her that she totally wanted to avoid. Then Alex just let it go and told everyone that she'll just ask Pinky again on Monday. And they were both laughing, as if sharing a private joke. Be sure to tune in to UKG tomorrow guys so we will know. "Kailan kaya?" --Alex Santos

Edu Manzano talks about woman of his life

WOMAN OF HIS LIFE. Saan naman nanggagaling ang inspiration niya kaya looking good and handsome pa rin siya?

"Well, I have a wonderful woman who takes good care of me, and alam naman ng lahat ‘yan, e. Now, siguro hindi na ako dapat maging laman ng mga columns ng ating mga friends from the entertainment press. Nandun lang ako sa bandang likuran, na I'm trying to just have, let's say, enjoy what's left in my life. Just to make sure that my children are always being taken care of."

Bakit hindi "future wife" ang itawag niya sa sinasabi niyang "woman in his life"?

"Ay, hindi, siyempre masyado nang speculative na yung mga ganyang salita."

Matagal na raw silang magkarelasyon ng sinasabi niyang "woman' at kasundo raw nito ang mga anak ni Edu.

"Yeah and, you know, para makasundo ko siguro, meron din siyang mga qualities na katanggap-tanggap. Like, she must have a very good sense of humor which alam n'yo naman she also possesses. So, I guess it's kinda nagiging mas maganda tuloy para sa mga bata."

Is she the last woman in Edu's life?

"Well, all the others have broken my heart, e, you know. Siyempre kahit paano umaasa ka lang. Kasi ako, before, akala ko lagi yun na. But no, wala silang ginawa kundi saktan ako, gamitin ako. Ngayon, nananatili akong ganito. I'm broken," biro ni Edu.

"I think you should take one day at a time," seryoso na niyang sabi. "Yun ang kagandahan kay Luis, e. People are open in speculating na ‘eto na ba? You will finally settle down. You've been a bachelor for so long. You know, one day at a time. I've been blessed with a number of ladies who became part of my life and because of my moments with them, I ended up enriched in many, many ways. So, my point of view is that be the best that you are and the best will come true."

My Best Pasko

On the said new segment of UKG for the Christmas season they've featured Pinky's nephews and niece. The kids said that their best Christmas was last year's because their uncle from the states came home. The kids also revealed what they usually get from their tita Pinky, Noah said that Pinky gave her about five hundred bucks and Libby said that she gets clothes and sometimes bracelets.

After the VTR, Pinky was all smiles and asked "Bakit ang puputi nyo? Mga ampon ba kayo?", then Rica quipped "baka ikaw ang ampon?". Then Pinky said that when she was small her dad often kids that she's adopted, and that she was found in the trash bin. Then she also said that it was ok because "One man's trash, is another man's treasure". And Rica agreed that she's really a dear treasure. I bet chairman will agree to that! :) She also disagreed to what her nephew said "Noah, hindi 500 binibigay ko sa'yo 1000!" then Donita jokingly said "Merry Christmas Pinky". She said that she oftens give cash to her niece and nephews because she doesn't have the luxury of time to shop for Christmas presents.

She also said that their family usually spend Christmases at her mom's and with her brother in "piitan" (as she puts it). And since they're not totally complete, they try to make the most of it.

By the way, just want to add they played Miley Cyrus' 7 Things. :)

Happy Pinky

Pinky wasn't able to attend UKG's opening of their Christmas countdown at the Santa Museum in Antipolo because she was sick but now she's back though she's not fully well yet.

Today, though she was sick she's really glowing and all! She looks so happy, maybe because she had a long weekend? That's what we don't know now. Anyway, she all made our day today when she as well as the other hosts danced again to the tune of Low! I can't help but notice her really good aura today.

Hope to see more of a happy Pinky this week! :)

Pinky is Hoodies Pretty

On X X X tonight, they've featured the victims of illegal recruiters and OFW's who've been maltreated by employers.. During the opening Pinky wasn't there so I thought we wouldn't be able to catch a glimpse of her, but we're all wrong! She did her job, and even went to different government agencies and allegedly illegal recruitment agencies to conduct an investigation.

While paying a visit to POEA Pinky wore a red and white plaid shirt with jeans. And she's been wearing hoodies every time she does investigative journalism for X X X. Tonight we saw her wore white and red hoodies. She does wear hoodies pretty!

Pinky Update

I hope Pinky Webb still finds time to rest, as she's really busy these past weeks. She's totally all over! My friends even noticed that she's really working hard as Tunying puts it "naglalagari". I am hoping she still have time to rest as we all don't want her to be sick, because when Pinky's sick it only means that we won't see her on TV nor hear her on the radio anymore. Though lately she's been out of the DZMM radar as she's pinch-hitting for Bandila. I think she'll be in Bandila till Ces comes back. I love her in Bandila, it's like a refreshing scene! A beautiful face in a hard core news program.

I also want to say that I agree with MJ, Pinky and Edu doesn't have a segment together anymore, maybe you're right MJ but I'm hoping that's not the reason as they're professionals. And they can deal with that.

I have no updates because I'm not in the country and I just had my subscription of TFC Now. I just hope that I'll be home soon so that I'll have more time for TV and radio. Though DZMM has a live streaming, it doesn't suffice that much because Pinky's not doing Radyo Patrol these days.
