Hey guys, here's the video of Ms Pinky when she & fellow UKG hosts guested in GKNB as part of Chairman Edu Manzano's week-long birthday celebration in the said show which he (Edu) hosts. This was in Sept 2007, Sir Edu's 52nd birthday! Also, some part of the video was from UKG. Well, I do hope you'll enjoy watching...kakakilig! ahahaha! NAG-FOURSOME ANG MAG-AMANG Edu at Luis Manzano sa katatapos lang na 22nd Star Awards for Television ng Philippine Movie Press Club sa SMX ng Mall of Asia last Sunday. Kasamang dumating ni Edu sa venue ang co-host niya sa Umagang Kay Ganda na si Pinky Webb. Samantalang si Luis naman ang escort ni Angel Locsin na nag-uwi ng kauna-unahan niyang acting award.

“Aktres na ako,” sabi ni Angel pagtanggap niya ng award.

Big winner si Edu that night as Best Game Show host sa Pilipinas, Game Ka Na Ba? Winner din sina Julius Babao para sa Best Male Newscaster, Kim Atienza for Matanglawin, at Robi Domingo as Best New Male TV Personality.

Nagkaroon ng komosyon sa audience nu’ng umakyat ng stage si Edu dahil ang nababalitang girlfriend niya ngayon na si Pinky Webb ang nag-announce ng winner for Best Game Show na napanalunan ng Pilipinas, Game Ka Na Ba? kasama si Julius as presenters.

Nu’ng muling babasahin naman ang winner for Best Game Show Host ni Julius Babao, panay ang silip ni Pinky kung sino ang nakasulat na pangalan sa envelope. After ma-announce na winner si Edu at tanggapin ang trophy, pinasalamatan niya si Pinky na halatang nag-blush sabay talikod sa audience. Pagbaba ni Pinky sa podium ng stage, namumula pa rin siya at pinagpapawisan.

“Hangggang ngayon pinagpapawisan pa rin ako,” ngiti ni Pinky sa mga members ng PMPC. “Never ako’ng pinagpawisan nang ganito katindi sa buhay ko.”

Paglabas ni Edu at Pinky sa hall ng SMX, pinutakte na sila ng tv crews. Iwas naman ng iwas si Pinky na makunan sila na magkasama ni Edu. So, si Edu na lang ang nag-entertain sa tv crews.

Hindi maitago ni Edu ang labis na kaligayahan that night lalo pa’t nandu’n din ang anak nyang si Luis with his very special love na si Angel. Wish nga ni Edu, sana raw nandu’n din ang iba pa niyang mga anak to share his happiness.

Nagbigay naman ng reaksiyon si Edu sa sinabi ng ex-wife niya at Governor ngayon ng Batangas na si Vilma Santos na kakausapin siya para pumayag na um-appear sa first movie nila ng kanilang anak na si Luis sa Star Cinema na may tentative title na A Mother’s Story kahit one day lang.

“Actually, nagkausap na kami at maganda ‘yun kung mas pagagandahin pa lalo ‘yung eksenang kukunan sa amin. Yes I agree with her (na lumabas sa movie nina Governor Vi at Luis). Pero nasa mga writer na ng Star Cinema ‘yun kung paano nila pagagandahin ‘yung eksenang gagawin namin sa movie,” pahayag ni Edu.

Malinaw ding sinabi ni Edu na walang isyu kay Pinky kung magsama ulit sila sa pelikula ng kanyang ex-wife at ina ni Luis. *******

Nevertheless, she's still the biggest winner in our hearts, most especially in Edu's heart.. You can see how happy & proud he (Edu) is having her (Pinky) beside him that night, he was a total winner even before he was announced a winner! They really look good together.

UKG 2008-12-01

The UKG gang was in Enchanted Kingdom today sans Tunying (Anthony Taberna) who's at the studio, Tita Winnie who's at Plantation Bay in Cebu and Alex who's missing in action even on the afternoon radio program he shares with Pinky Webb.

Pinky and Edu had a segment in UKG today which features Old Hollywood Hairs. She said that the trend boomed during the 40's in hollywood and 70's and 80's here in the country. Pinky asked Edu if he remembered the hairdo and Edu said that he'd met and known so many sporting the do before. And Pinky said "talaga? marami?" (Really? There's a lot?), and she was kind of teasing Edu, and Edu just smiled his signature goofy smile. Pinky said that that trend is making a comeback, and that most of today's local celebs are sporting the do, like Judy Ann Santos and Anne Curtis.

I saw almost all the hosts riding the "rides" but I haven't seen Pinky ride any, or did I just miss that part? Maybe I missed it, when I was busy checking my mails.

Edu Manzano was in his element when he faced another grueling taping schedule of Pilipinas, Game Ka Na Ba? last week after his One Kapamilya,Go! European tour ng ABS CBN Global. Enjoy si Mr. Manzano sa taping 4 episodes-a-day, twice-a-week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) at wala itong reklamo kahit pa sabihing nagri-report pa rin ito sa opisina ng Optical Media Board most of the time.

Laging naka-smile si Edu everytime na tinatanong ang tungkol sa kaniyang relasyon with News and Public Affairs anchorwoman, Pinky Webb, ang sinasabing kaniyang "apple of the eye." No'ng makorner namin si Edu after his show sa Italy a couple of weeks ago, naitanong namin sa mabait na TV host kung gaano katotoo ang chinika ng kaniyang kaibigan sa amin, na he's planning a February wedding next year with Pinky. "Hintayin niyo na lang ang further announcement," muli'y biting pahayag ni tserman sa amin.

But Chairman Edu doesn't deny nor directly admit na ikakasal na sila ni Pinky next year. Kaya lang, nagpahaging ito na he's looking forward to a honeymoon in Europe next year. "I love the place. Napakaganda!" excited pang kuwento ni Edu sa isang exclusive interview with ABS-CBN.com before PGKNB started taping. "Dito kami magha-honeymoon," says Edu na mukhang haping-hapi sa sinabi.

On the other hand, we also asked Edu kung totoo ang balitang against si Jason Webb, kapatid ni Pinky sa pagpapakasal nito with Edu. Nauna na kasing nainterbyu si Jason at nasabi nitong wala itong alam sa wedding plans ng kapatid. "Hindi naman sila (Pinky and Jason) in constant communication. Totoong matagal na silang hindi nagkikita, kahit pa sabihing magkapatid sila," pagtatapos ni Edu.

Now it can be told, tuloy ang kasalang Edu Manzano at Pinky Webb sa darating na Febuary 2009.

Ito mismo ang napag-alaman namin sa isang malapit kay OMB Chairman Edu.

Ayon pa sa aming reliable source, tuloy na tuloy na ito although pinag-uusapan pa rin daw kung saan ito gaganapin. As in, wala pa raw kasi uma-nong napipiling venue ang soon- to-be husband and wife.

Dagdag pa ng aming source, siyempre, gusto raw nina Chairman Edu at Pinky na ma-ging sobrang espesyal ang araw na ito, hindi lamang para sa kanila ni Pinky kundi para na rin sa mga taong nagmamahal sa kanila.

Sa totoo lang, masaya kami para kay Edu dahil sa wakas ay naka-tagpo na siya ng babaing mamahalin niya at mamahalin din siya pati ang mga anak niya, nang habambuhay.

Samantala, dinalaw namin si OMB Chairman Edu sa muling pagte-taping niya sa PGKNB? pagkabalik niya mula sa Italy with Ai-Ai delas Alas and Jed Madela para sa One Kapamilya Go. Ayaw namang mag-komento ng TV host tungkol sa mga isyu regarding Pinky’s brother Jason Webb na diuma-no’y against daw ito sa relasyon nila ng kasinta-han?

Ang punto ni Chairman Edu, baka iba na naman ang maging interpretasyon sa kanyang masabi. Kaya better still, quiet na lang siya.

Hindi naman maitago ni Chairman Edu ang lubos na paghanga niya sa golden voice ng singer na si Jed Madela.

Mala-opera raw ang dating nito kaya pati ang mga Italyano ay bumilib sa Pinoy singer natin.

Si Jed kaya ang isa sa mga maghahandog ng awitin sa darating na kasalang Edu Manzano at Pinky Webb?

Nu’ng Linggo (Setyembre 14) ay 53rd birthday ni Chairman Edu.
Sinorpresa siya ng mga anak niyang sina Luis, Enzo at Adi ng isang dance number sa PGKNB nu’ng Sabado.
Nakipagkuntsaba ang staff ng show kay Luis para sa nasabing surprise number at si Luis pa ang nag-choreograph ng sayaw nila ng kanyang half-siblings na sina Adi (15 y/o) at Enzo (13 y/o).
Balak na rin bang mag-showbiz ng dalawang anak ni Doods tulad ng panganay niyang si Luis?
“Parang si Luis ‘yan, eh! I told them, ‘Wala sa inyong pwedeng maging bahagi ng entertainment industry until you graduate. Then, bahala na kayo sa buhay n’yo!’
“Tinanong ko nga sila nu’ng Sunday eh, nag-lunch kaming lahat. ‘Did you like what you did?’ Sabi nila, ‘Yeah, daddy, masaya!’ Sabi ko, ‘Do you want to enter the business?’ Sagot nu’ng dalawa, ‘No, daddy, we just did that for you,’” natatawang tsika ni Edu.
Gaya ni Gov. Vilma Santos ay sobrang kaibigan din daw ni Doods ang ina nina Adi at Enzo na si Rina Samson at wala silang problema.
Maganda ang relasyon ng mga anak ni Edu sa kasalukuyan niyang nobya na si Pinky Webb.
“You should never hide anything from your children because iisipin nilang masama. But if you’re very open, walang problema.
“Ang sinasabi nga sa akin ni Luis, ‘Dapat siguro, dad, mag-asawa ka na. Mahirap ang buhay binata.’ Sabi ko, ‘Yeah, I agree. Nahihirapan ako.’ Ha! Ha! Ha!”
Masaya si Doods sa relasyon nila ni Pinky, pero hangga’t maari ay ayaw niya itong masyadong pag-usapan.
“Nasa news (department) kasi siya, eh. Ayoko siyang masama sa mga tsismis, kaya iniiwasan ko siyang pag-usapan.
“Out of respect for her job. Hindi puwedeng madapuan ng tsismis, kasi ‘yung kredibilidad, naaapektuhan,” seryosong sambit ng simpatikong OMB Chairman.
Syanga pala, inilabas na ng Universal Records ang album na Edu Manzano: Dancer of the Universe, kung saan anim ang karakter ni Edu sa cover – full-blooded Pinoy, Sumo wrestler, Gestapo, Mexican, Russian at Chinese.
Follow-up ito sa naunang album ni Edu na certified platinum, ang World’s Greatest Dance Steps.

Lucky and Happy

I bet all of you Pinky Webb fans out there who were able to watch the episode last Friday were certainly hoping to find what Alex was about to ask Pinky but unfortunately Alex didn't dare raise the "question" to Pinky. And left us all wondering what supposedly the big question that our dear Pinky tried to avoid. Anyway, on UKG today Pinky was so cute playing with the RC toys and Elmo. She was really enjoying while playing with the toys. She tried flying the RC chopper and almost hit some of the audience and Rica on the head! Hahaha and she also played with the RC car and bumped at the feet of the audience as well as her own.

On another note, I missed to blog about Tambalang Failon and Sanchez last Friday. While on air Ted said hello to Edu and Pinky who happened to pass by. And then ted added that there are just some people who are lucky, just like Edu who's really lucky to have Pinky. And he kept on saying how lucky Edu and Pinky together. I therefore conclude that their relationship is an open secret in the news room. Truly, I agree with Ted, chairman is lucky to have Pinky in his life.

WOMAN OF HIS LIFE. Saan naman nanggagaling ang inspiration niya kaya looking good and handsome pa rin siya?

"Well, I have a wonderful woman who takes good care of me, and alam naman ng lahat ‘yan, e. Now, siguro hindi na ako dapat maging laman ng mga columns ng ating mga friends from the entertainment press. Nandun lang ako sa bandang likuran, na I'm trying to just have, let's say, enjoy what's left in my life. Just to make sure that my children are always being taken care of."

Bakit hindi "future wife" ang itawag niya sa sinasabi niyang "woman in his life"?

"Ay, hindi, siyempre masyado nang speculative na yung mga ganyang salita."

Matagal na raw silang magkarelasyon ng sinasabi niyang "woman' at kasundo raw nito ang mga anak ni Edu.

"Yeah and, you know, para makasundo ko siguro, meron din siyang mga qualities na katanggap-tanggap. Like, she must have a very good sense of humor which alam n'yo naman she also possesses. So, I guess it's kinda nagiging mas maganda tuloy para sa mga bata."

Is she the last woman in Edu's life?

"Well, all the others have broken my heart, e, you know. Siyempre kahit paano umaasa ka lang. Kasi ako, before, akala ko lagi yun na. But no, wala silang ginawa kundi saktan ako, gamitin ako. Ngayon, nananatili akong ganito. I'm broken," biro ni Edu.

"I think you should take one day at a time," seryoso na niyang sabi. "Yun ang kagandahan kay Luis, e. People are open in speculating na ‘eto na ba? You will finally settle down. You've been a bachelor for so long. You know, one day at a time. I've been blessed with a number of ladies who became part of my life and because of my moments with them, I ended up enriched in many, many ways. So, my point of view is that be the best that you are and the best will come true."

Good News?

Hey everyone! I think I have some good news! I just hope I'm right. :) I heard from the radio this morning that Anthony will be away for quite some time because he'll be going to the US. Maybe that meant that Pinky and Edu will be back soon so that UKG won't be 'undermanned'. :)

I just wish I'm right with my intuition! :) I am so missing them already....

Awwww.... so sweet! Feels like I'm watching a romance/comedy flick. Seriously, they look good together. And they should be together! They'll have beautiful kids, I'll bet my life on that! :)

UKG 2008-05-30

On UKG today, it was only Pinky Webb and Anthony Taberna who were there for the opening, Edu Manzano is running late as well as Rica Peralejo, Donita Rose and Kuya Kim Atienza are on location in Zoobic Safari in Subic and Tita Winnie Cordero is in the Megatrade center in Megamall. As Pinky said on the earlier part of the show Alex Santos is sick.

During the opening Anthony was carrying the makeshift banner that says “WANTED HOST”, as there were only Pinky, Bernadette Sembrano and him were there. Pinky also danced and sang along the music of Awitin mo, Isasayaw ko, she also asked Tunying to also dance and sing with her. And she also revealed that sapsap (a kind of fish) is her favorite and that she’s really a big eater.

The audience from the Treasurers and Assesors from Nueva Vizcaya brought tupig (a kind of rice delicacy) for the hosts, and the University of Perpetual Help also brought buko pies for the UKG hosts. Anthony and Pinky couldn’t wait to taste test the food that were brought for them. Pinky jokingly asked if the food they’ve brought does have an expiration date stamped on the packaging, and said that “kung expired ‘to, papa-XXX ko kayo!”.

When Pinky, Edu and Anthony were reading the headlines, Edu made his turn for the taste test of the tupig and hid the one of two boxes of buko pies. Pinky asked him to buy coffee for them as it will go well with the tupig and that because he wasn’t on the opening the buko pies are for her and Tunying only. And jokingly added “dahil espesyal ka sa akin, ibibigay ko sa’yo ang isa”, then whispered to him “Php500 lang!”.Pinky Webb is really getting the hang of the lightness of the show, unlike her other shows in ABS and ANC that are really hard core news.
