Breakfast Talk

On UKG today:

While introducing Donita's segment, Rica asked Pinky what's her favorite breakfast. She told Rica that her breakfast consists of tapa, vinegar with garlic and chili and 2 servings of rice. I wonder how she can eat that much in the morning?

After Donita's segment which featured Rufo's tapa, Pinky said that she started eating at that place when she was still 18 years old, and she said that their tapa is good but added that her mom's tapa is still the best for her!

Guys, watch UKG tomorrow the green archers will be grazing the show. Ciao.

Blue Eagles Invasion

The UAAP season 71 champion of the men's basketball went to visit UKG. It was super fun! I really enjoyed watching them as I myself is a blue-blooded gal (oops, sorry ate Pinks. But I also have some green blood in me as I am taking up some units at the archers' side). Pinky was also enjoying teasing the Blue Eagle guys! They played paper dance. And Pinky looked so cute when she was carried by her partner so that they would fit in on the little piece of paper that was left when they were playing paper dance.

I still feel unlucky though as I wasn't able to see her sing. :( I'll post the pitures of the paper dance when I get hold of it. But don't worry guys, it's on its way. :) Ciao.

XXX 2008-09-20

On XXX she wore a white track jacket minus the hoodies that we all like seeing on her. :) She also wore a black turtle neck top, she looks great with it on and she accessorized it with gold, hoop earrings, and she kept her hair tied. She really looks classy though, even when she wore it with jeans. Her outfit looks like these:

Their topic on XXX was about concubinage (for married men) and adultery (married women). There's just something about the laws concerning those cases that's quite unfair. If a guy is guilty he will only serve 4 years in jail, where as a woman will serve 6 years. That's pretty unfair there, maybe they should review that law. Why can't they make it equal for both sexes? ANyway, so much of my ranting, I'm only here to update. :)

I'm too excite for the game this afternoon! Go Green! Go Blue!

Update 2008-09-19

Last night, Pinky was on Bandila, this morning she's on UKG (her regular program), and tonight on primetime she was also there with Henry Omaga-Diaz, pinching in for both Karen Davila and Ted Failon along with their other XXX co-host and TV Patrol regular Julius Babao.

On UKG this morning, they had a mini Ateneo-La Salle games. Pinky was the coach for La Salle and Rica for Ateneo. Pinky looks so cute cheering for her alma mater and their team won the egg-relay contest and Ateneo's team headed by Rica won the basketball game. When I saw Pinky waving the green flag(let?) I tried to imagine her in her cheering uniform back in her college days because she told in one of her interviews and in UKG before that she was a cheerleader.

The ADMU-DLSU game is on on Sunday, I can't wait for it. I really don't know what team to side as I went to Ateneo High School and I took some courses in DLSU after college and because PInky's on the green side. But it doesn't matter whoever wins, as long as they'll have a great game. To start with, blue and green is a good match already. So what could go wrong?

Update!

They celebrated Edu's birthday last Sunday, no wonder one of our readers here saw them at a church in Magallanes. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying they don't go to church when there's no occassion, it's just that my reasoning just fits. :)

Anyway, Pinky is late on UKG today and she was not quite her usual quirky self. And on the last part of the show she was seen seriously texting, or maybe just playing games on her phone? No, I don't think she does that (play games on her phone) while on air. But on the closing though, she 'danced' to Beyonce's hit.

On other note, I love her white, off-shoulder top. It shows her toned shoulder blades, and makes her look slimmer than she really is.

Nu’ng Linggo (Setyembre 14) ay 53rd birthday ni Chairman Edu.
Sinorpresa siya ng mga anak niyang sina Luis, Enzo at Adi ng isang dance number sa PGKNB nu’ng Sabado.
Nakipagkuntsaba ang staff ng show kay Luis para sa nasabing surprise number at si Luis pa ang nag-choreograph ng sayaw nila ng kanyang half-siblings na sina Adi (15 y/o) at Enzo (13 y/o).
Balak na rin bang mag-showbiz ng dalawang anak ni Doods tulad ng panganay niyang si Luis?
“Parang si Luis ‘yan, eh! I told them, ‘Wala sa inyong pwedeng maging bahagi ng entertainment industry until you graduate. Then, bahala na kayo sa buhay n’yo!’
“Tinanong ko nga sila nu’ng Sunday eh, nag-lunch kaming lahat. ‘Did you like what you did?’ Sabi nila, ‘Yeah, daddy, masaya!’ Sabi ko, ‘Do you want to enter the business?’ Sagot nu’ng dalawa, ‘No, daddy, we just did that for you,’” natatawang tsika ni Edu.
Gaya ni Gov. Vilma Santos ay sobrang kaibigan din daw ni Doods ang ina nina Adi at Enzo na si Rina Samson at wala silang problema.
Maganda ang relasyon ng mga anak ni Edu sa kasalukuyan niyang nobya na si Pinky Webb.

“Ang sinasabi nga sa akin ni Luis, ‘Dapat siguro, dad, mag-asawa ka na. Mahirap ang buhay binata.’ Sabi ko, ‘Yeah, I agree. Nahihirapan ako.’ Ha! Ha! Ha!”
Masaya si Doods sa relasyon nila ni Pinky, pero hangga’t maari ay ayaw niya itong masyadong pag-usapan.
“Nasa news (department) kasi siya, eh. Ayoko siyang masama sa mga tsismis, kaya iniiwasan ko siyang pag-usapan.
“Out of respect for her job. Hindi puwedeng madapuan ng tsismis, kasi ‘yung kredibilidad, naaapektuhan,” seryosong sambit ng simpatikong OMB Chairman.
Syanga pala, inilabas na ng Universal Records ang album na Edu Manzano: Dancer of the Universe, kung saan anim ang karakter ni Edu sa cover – full-blooded Pinoy, Sumo wrestler, Gestapo, Mexican, Russian at Chinese.
