UKG 2008-06-27

It's the last day of UKG's first anniversary celebration. They gave away 15 Suzuki scooters to the audience who were pedicab & tricycle drivers. They also gave away 5 Bench time watches to 5 lucky callers.

Their special guest today for swap tayo is ABS-CBN's chief correspondent Korina Sanchez, she's swapping her I-pod video for pots and stove for Janice, a mother who lives and feeds her children from scavenging trash floating on the Parola river. Korina said that her I-pod will give you a glimpse lf her true self. Her kind of songs, and the movies she loves to watch. She said that her favorite movie is A Love Affair, which stars Anette Benning. I love that movie too! I remember watching it at Sunday night's best in ABS way back late 90's, and I was really in tears! Edu said that he likes the movie with the same title but different leads and Pinky added that the affair she likes is Mar & Korina's. Korina jokingly added 'ginagawa pa', then Pinky said 'at ikaw mismo ang gaganap bilang Korina'. In my opinion Pinky and Korina knows each other a little too well.

Sad to say, we didn't witness any Edu-Pinky moment today. But we got to know that Pinky's favorite number is 14, it was the number of her dad's jersey. And she said that because of that she as well as her siblings were able to go to school.

"hey glampink..ms pinky's fave episode was her bday coz her dad & bro came & took the efoort to wake up early...as it was shownedu even added..ang bata ng daddy mo..and the song beautiful in my eyes is playing in the background, pinky said it's her fave song.then added "wala ka kc nun e, maybe you should sing a line or two for me" edu said later solo ako.. then pinky asked bkit nga b wala k nung bday ko? edu answered e c jericho ung pinili mo e..alam mo nmng seloso ako, & pinky answered ako din selosa..he even held & kissed pinky's hand..and the audience were shouting..kiss..kiss ..then donita & kuya kim join them & teasing them as well..he took a picture or the two with edu's arm on pinky's shoulder..kakakilig talaga they gave their of what seems to be their fave things..for edu it's the rosary & says he can't leave the house w/o a rosary in his pocket & in case he forgets it he surely will comeback for it..then pinky asked..so if you were to choose..rosaryo o ako? edu was speechless & tyring to emote...then answered, kung kya lng kitang ibulsa gagawin ko pra lagi kitang kasama..pinky just smiled & you would feel n kinilig xa xmpre.. as for pinky, she revealed n hindi xa talaga mhilig mg make up, hindi lng tlaga pwede s tv ang walang mke up..kya mahilig xa mghilamos..at xempre dahil cla ung gumigising satin s umaga kylangan mabango cla & edu came close to her neck & sniff..hmmmmm ang bango..and he would do his comic face (duling) pinky said ang pangit mo pg gumaganyan ka..gwapo k nmn e..

she gave away belo essentials products.. anthony gave away eye glasses, rica apparel from MAGS, tita winnie, diff magz regarding food & home. donita- cologne spray, kuya kim-sumbrero, alex-a compilation of his fave songs..a personalized cd & supplements, ogie- placenta renew products..dami take home ng audience noh?ang saya saya! they gave a TV too..ung nkakuha happens to celebrating her bday today,,o d b, bongga..my TV xa..

Happy 1st Birthday UKG!

Today is UKG's first birthday. During the opening of the show Edu asked the hosts what's their favorite episode? Donita said that her favorite is her birthday because all the hosts are present, and they had a production number, even Pinky Webb danced to the tune of Butchikik and also because her husband and their son were also present that day. Rica's favorite is their Boracay episode, she said that it was their first time to really "bond", they had dinner together, and kuya Kim also agreed. Alex's favorite is the Independence day episode because he was reporting live from Kawit, Cavite and he felt that he's able to let our countrymen feel the essence of the day. And Edu's favorite is the episode where Ambassador Chrisry Kennie is their guest, and she even dance the Papaya with him. Hmnn.. I wonder what's Pinky's favorite episode? It's just sad that the gang ain't complete. B is out of the picture... she's on her honeymoon.


Today the gang wore a black shirt with the UKG logo that is lighting up! Their shirts are so cute! Rica said that if any of the viewers liked it, just call her and she'll give hers in a lower price! Hahaha. They look good in their shirts, Seriously! Even Pinky Webb still looks gorgeous in just a very basic black tee.I just hope I can watch it later at around 7AM Manila time, coz for sure I'll be off to the training by that time.I've been and I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.


So guys, if you're able to watch the whole show please give us an update so that we're at the same page. :)

No Updates

Hi guys, sorry if I wasn't able to post the updates that I promised you. Remember last time I told you that I'm only using my mobile phone to get connected to the internet? I found out that the reason I can't use my wifi even when all the guests of the whole hotel is able to access it, it's because my laptop is 'sick' (infected by some virus!!!!), and I had no choice but to reformat it. And all my files are lost!!! But I'll try to retrieve my files, I'm keeping my hopes up and fingers crossed as well.

I only wish that I still have the copies of it in my portable hard disk back home.

My apologies to all of you. :(

Bandila 2008-06-20

Pinky Webb was pinching in for Korina Sanchez and Ces Drilon on ABS-CBN's late night news program Bandila. She joined Henry Omaga-Diaz that night. We might recall that Pinky's exclusive report on Daniel Smith, a US soldier based in the Philippines convicted of rape, after the guilty verdict was handed served as one of the winning elements of the only Filipino newscast that made it to the final four nominees for Best Newscast in the prestigious International Emmy Awards.

Whether she's doing the early morning news, breaking news, late night news or even investigative journalism, she really stands out. She's good at her craft! No wonder, she's all over the Philippines' news world. As UNO puts it, 'she's not only making/reading headlines but she's also making head turns. So true!

Ces is Freed!

On her birthday Pinky said that she was sad because her "matalik na kaibigan" (close friend) Ces Drilon and cameraman Jimmy and a MSU professor and peace advocate Prof Dimampo were held captives by the ASG. Just before midnight last night Drilon and company were set free with the help of Sen. Loren Legarda, AFP, PNP et al. They are now in Zamboanga.

This morning on UKG, Pinky expressed her joy for Ces' freedom and she said that it felt like a dagger was pulled from her chest and she can now breath.

Here at Pink News! we are happy for Ces, Jimmy and the professor and all their families.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PINKY!

Yesterday morning Pinky Webb was not in the studio, she's doing her field work for the first day of school for the school year 2008-2009. She was at the Batasan Natioanal High School. She wasn't at the studio to celebrate Alex Santos' birthday.


She's also present at her radio program 'Radyo Patrol 630', she and Angelo Palmones made fun of Alex because he was absent for his radio stint. They said he took a day off from work to avoid his birthday blow-out. Angelo said that Alex should treat them on the11th and Pinky on the 12th instead. Pinky answered 'Kuya, kung papasok di na manlilibre!' Angelo said 'Pinky nung 21st birthday mo di ka nagpakain, ngayong 22 ka na magpakain ka naman! 'Ahh, sige pag-iisipan ko kuya.' Pinky added.


Last night on TVP, Pinky took Karen's post, as the latter was absent for some reasons. No offense for Karen but I would like to see Pinky every night on TVP.

UKG 2008-06-06

On UKG yesterday, Pinky Webb is looking hot in her red number. Also, it was a special day in UKG as they were having Bernadette's bridal shower. The hosts gave ate B their gifts for the bridal show, and only Pinky who didn't reveal what she gave to B. It was a parcel! An out of the country trip for two? Or a trip to the spa? What about a shopping spree? Only them knows! I heard from the grapevine that our dear Pinky Webb is a generous giver.

Pinky Fact: She said to day that she loves to eat the balut, but she don't eat the chick. She also said that there was a time she ate 6 eggs in just one sitting! Whew! She's really a HUGE eater!

UKG 2008-06-02

On UKG today Pinky wore a halter/cowl neck white dress with black belt for an added edge and really killer pumps (in a good way). She was even called "dyosa" by Anthony as she looks really ethereal with the dress on, and there's something that really made her glowing and I think it's her aura. She also revealed that she watched Sex and the City over the weekend... Hmmm made me think who she went to the movies with? For a second there I felt I was gossip girl. :)
