Radyo Patrol 2008-07-30

I wasn't able to catch her on UKG today 'coz I was only able to watch the later part at around 8AM and she weren't there anymore. Wait... was she present today?

Anyway, even if I missed her on UKG I was able to listen to Radyo Patrol this afternoon with Alex Santos. On their health news Pinky talked about 5 different juices that are beneficial to us. First is the celery juice, then the pineapple and cherry juice, and celery, peppermint and Chinese parsely juice which is good for the eyesight, also the garlic, onion, celery and parsley juice and lastly the potato juice.

Pinky said that she needed the celery, peppermint and Chinese parsley juice as her vision is not as good as it used to. But she also said that she don't feel like drinking those, except for the celery which she can take as tolerable. She also said that can we just eat French fries rather than drinking potato juice? Yeah, I totally agree with her... I can't imagine the taste of these juices.

Alex asked Pinky what's the name of the juice of the problematics? Pinky said... "so joke-joke portion ito?" then Alex said "Juice ko po!" Pinky laughed at the corniness of Alex' joke. The joke reminds me of Ogie's JuPoPiYans (Juice ko pong pineapple bayan).

Pinky is Back!

Finally, Pinky Webb is back after a three-week break from work. There were lots of viewers who missed her while she was gone. Even Speaker Prospero Nograles noticed that she's been out of the scene for weeks. See? UKG without Pinky is not the same. No offense meant to the other hosts.

Pinky came to work today in her immaculately white, goddess-like dress. She's got a new hairstyle and her skin is really glowing even with the tan plus her arms are more toned and she really looks good! That rest made her really look more fab and gorgeous!

She said that the first couple of weeks of her vacation was great but on the third week she had a problem, she didn't elaborate what the problem was but I think it was the thought that her vacation is almost over. She said though that it was so great not waking up at 3:30 in the morning to go to work.

Miss Pinky Webb we are so glad that your back. We missed you so much! :D

UPDATE:

Kuya Kim gave Pinky a nickname because of her new do. "Baby China".

I also noticed that she and Edu didn't talk that much today and she was even seated next to kuya Kim and not Edu (who's seated between Bernadette and Ogie)

UKG 2008-07-15

I only got to watch the beginning of the show and Anthony wasn't present. Maybe he already left or will be leaving for the states today. I just wish they'd be here by tomorrow to brighten up our mornings. The pair always make my day fun even with the gloomy weather. The gang are all in the studio even tita Winnie, except for the three (Pinky, Edu & Tunying).

Good News?

Hey everyone! I think I have some good news! I just hope I'm right. :) I heard from the radio this morning that Anthony will be away for quite some time because he'll be going to the US. Maybe that meant that Pinky and Edu will be back soon so that UKG won't be 'undermanned'. :)

I just wish I'm right with my intuition! :) I am so missing them already....

XXX 2008-07-12

Even when Pinky's taking a break, she made sure that all her work is done. On XXX tonight, though she isn't seen hosting the show along with Julius and Henry but she did tape an expose, or maybe did some voice over. It was about a barangay official in San Juan, Balagtas, Bulacan who's practicing abortion and even sells the drug Psytotec that's prohibited or is just sold with prescription because it can cause abortion. The barangay official when caught in act didn't even bother denying the act. She said that she's been doing it for quite some time already.

At this rough times people tend to do everything just to earn money, even if it means taking a life. Just a thought, when I heard Pinky voicing over it seemed like it was a phone patch, that or she just had colds that day. :)

Well, we hope that she's doing good and having fun while away. And we hope to see her (them) soon.

Awwww.... so sweet! Feels like I'm watching a romance/comedy flick. Seriously, they look good together. And they should be together! They'll have beautiful kids, I'll bet my life on that! :)
